Dear Family and Friend's.
My friend's Jessica and Ryan have experienced an unique pregnancy so far. Their daughter was first diagnosed with bilateral Clubfoot on 3/7/18. They have gone through numerous genetic testing to rule out other abnormalities that could be linked to the clubfoot. On 4/18/18 they came up for a follow up appointment to check on baby's growth and development and make sure the legs and feet are continuing to develop within healthy measurements. During this scan the DR. Noticed a huge concern with baby's heart.
After further imaging baby was diagnosed with Fetal Hydrops( Heart failure). At this current point baby has fluid building up around her heart, lungs, abdomin, and lower legs. Baby is being monitored closely and Mom has received her first shot of steroids to start strengthening baby's lungs for upcoming Csection. Baby will be born premature and will require extensive TX and care during the stay in the NICU.
Donations will help with housing, gas, food and medical cost that the family will be facing.
Please keep Baby Girl Barrett in your thoughts and anything helps!
To add to it all, their daughter Natalye was starting to exhibit signs of weakness.
She was taking the Saint Peter's Hospital, and admitted but was later released the next day.
Natalye's Health continued to deteriorate and on May 11th she was admitted to Community Hospital in Missoula Montana
After spinal tap it had been shown that she has
Guillain-Barré.
Nat has lost control of all her functions, she can't talk or move her limbs.Natalye is even so weak she has lost the ability to swallow and is is being hand fed by nurses and family.
She has since been transferred to Seattle Children's hospital, the same Hospital her newborn little sister is at.
4/20/18
C-section has been held off.
Mom and baby are under constant monitoring at Community Medical in Missoula Mt
