Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted folks,

We are establishing this GoFundMe on behalf of baby Franco Anthony Ramos , son of Giovanna and Nick Ramos. Franco is one tough guy and a fighter but he needs some help. Please read his story as shared by his courageous and amazing parents on 10/26/23.

Franco will be having surgery on Monday 10/30/23 to help open up his airways. As we all know medical costs, in general, can be astronomical. While Giovanna and Nick focus on getting the care Franco needs, we as a family and community, have the opportunity to help relieve some of the financial burden and stress. In times like this we can feel helpless, please take this opportunity to take action and donate. No amount is too small. Giovanna and Nick’s journey with Franco:

After Franco's first 40 day NICU stay, we were only home for a short two weeks. During this time it became clear that something still wasn't right with his breathing. This landed us back in a different hospital's NICU where we have been for the last 50 days. They were able to find that his airways are essentially collapsing on him as he is trying to breathe.

Unfortunately, there was not much they could do to help him but we never stopped searching for answers.

After tons of research, phone calls, emails, and some divine intervention we were able to get Franco transferred to Johns Hopkins All Children Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida. This is one of the few hospitals in the country that specialize in airway treatment for children, and he will finally be getting the surgery he needs to help his breathing! Please say some extra prayers for our sweet boy, a smooth surgery, and a quick recoverv!

Franco, your Mommy and Daddy love you so much! It has been heartbreaking to watch you struggle for months. We will do absolutely everything in our power to get you the help that you need. We'd fly all over the world if that's what it would take. You are the strongest and bravest boy, and we are so proud to be your parents. You are the best thing that's ever happened to us, the greatest miracle, and the biggest blessing of our lives.
