This GoFundMe has been set up to cover funeral/memorial expenses for my granddaughter Ellie Mae who was born on March 13, 2021 and passed away on March 16, 2021.
Nothing prepares you for the loss of a child, especially a baby. It’s gut wrenching heartbreak. It’s sorrow, tears, thoughts of what if and questions of what could have been. It’s raw and ugly. The tears and pain seem endless. Sweet Ellie Mae was beautiful. So tiny and pink. Her heart was strong and oh so promising. She was a fighter. Although she was born early she entered this world with her soft sweet baby cries, moving her little arms and legs and struggled to open her eyes. So beautiful and perfect, a gift from God. Although we are grieving we understand that God has a plan and she is safe in his arms.
The meaning of her name, Ellie means Shining light of God. I ask that you please pray for my daughter Sophie to find peace, comfort and understanding.
