Hello, My name is Achalla; on January 31st, my sister Mary went into the hospital expecting to give birth to her son Elijah Omot Openo at 39 weeks. Unfortunately, they were unable to detect a heartbeat. It was the most devasting news for the family to hear. We currently do not know why Elijah's little heart stopped beating. We were looking forward to my nephew coming home and bringing joy into our lives. Elijah was going to be my first nephew and the family's first grandbaby. Growing up in a household of mainly all girls, we were more than excited to add another boy to our family. Due to this sudden, unpredictable tragic event, we are stuck trying to pay for my nephew's funeral cost. Times are rough financially, especially during this pandemic, and we are humbly asking for help. Although Elijah was stillborn, he was still born into the world.
