Late yesterday afternoon baby Dually was found to have choked. He was unable to eat and even after a vet came out the blockage was unable to be cleared. His owner, Danielle, then consulted with the vet again and the decision was made to take him to UC Davis emergency equine hospital where he has remained overnight. He has been able to clear the blockage, but now has a risk of infection and suffers from a fever. He remains at UC Davis at this time under their care. Danielle is a passionate horse owner and wants to do all she can to help this baby survive, but emergency vet care is a financial hardship. Please help contribute to the care of this special little man so that he can come home and continue to terrorize everyone on the property!

update as of 7/20: Little man came home Friday evening and did great yesterday but unfortunately this morning when Danielle got to the barn to give him his medications she found him choking again

We’re currently waiting for the vet to come out and assess his condition before deciding if we can treat at home or if we will need to go back to Davis.
