Dean Barrington was born on 3/23/2021 with a heart defect called AVSD, he has 2 holes in his little heart and a valve defect that need to be repaired through open heart surgery.. He was also diagnosed with trisomy 21 aka Down syndrome due to this diagnosis Dean spent the first 25 days after birth In The NICU. He is currently in therapy to help him eat and grow stronger, while hitting his milestones to be in top shape for his surgery. Baby dean will have his open heart surgery sometime between 9/15-9/30. The baby will be in the hospital for several weeks with a couple of months recovery. He does have fmla but will be exhausting all his paid time off plus the expenses of all the surgeries is extensive.

He continues to amaze us all with his growth, personality and his continuing fight to be the strongest he can be! Dean is our pride and joy and we believe he can overcome anything he faces!Our family truly appreciates all the support and prayers from everyone!
