Baby Dean and The Ryan Family

This morning my 2 month old baby nephew, Dean Ryan, started having trouble breathing. His mom, Chelsea Ryan, drove him to the hospital. His father, Daniel Ryan and older siblings stayed behind. 

 

Upon arrival to the ER Dean turned blue and stopped breathing. Emergency staff rushed in and preformed CPR. They were able get him back and placed him on a ventilator. Dean had to have an IO placed (this is where they drill a hole in the shin to be able to administer IV medications quickly). They called for a helicopter and airlifted him to Pittsburgh hospital. His x-ray came back as a white out and his covid test returned positive. He is currently in the PICU on a ventilator with covid pneumonia. They have dropped a central line into his neck for IV antibiotics and to be able to move quickly if he would need aggressive care later. Dean was a premie when born and is still a little guy. He is fighting, but needs all the prayers you can send.

 

Daniel and Chelsea will obviously be out of work for a while and I do not want them to worry about finances during a time like this. If you’re able to help them we greatly appreciate it and if not, your prayers are also appreciated.
