Baby Courtney's Early Arrival & Car Trouble

Donation protected
My son and his girlfriend unexpectedly had their baby girl over 6 weeks early. Baby Courtney was 3lbs 5.6oz at birth. She has been doing very well and is expected to be going home this week. Having baby in the NICU 40 minutes from home means he has missed a lot of work and they have had additional expenses for gas and meals. They got in a room at RMH and that has been very helpful for the sake of gas. Unfortunately, right after she was born, the only vehicle in the family suffered a total failure of the brakes and is unsafe to drive. They had already put about $800 into the brakes trying to fix them, only for it to all be for nothing. There was a car donated to them by a family friend, but it needs a lot of work to make it viable long term. They are also not prepared with the things they will need with a very small baby coming home in the next few days. I am hoping to raise enough money for them to take care of the vehicle and obtain the things they will need for her to come home.

3/10/2025 Update
Baby Courtney continues to do very well. The current estimate is that she may go home tomorrow or Wednesday. She weighs 4 pounds 11.5 ounces. She's back in a crib again and needs to stay out 24 to 48 hours to go home.
