Michaela Cook-Yotts has been one of my best friends since the fourth grade, we’ve only ever had one fight that lasted ten minutes. It’s been so long that i couldn’t even tell you what the fight was about. And I’ve loved Nora (her wife) since the second I met “my best friends first girlfriend”! They are two wonderful, deserving, and extremely hard working women with hearts of gold. At their wedding in 2017 they gifted my sister and I a dance with our dad and they were there for me in the trenches when he passed away five months later. They couldn’t fix anything but just their presence was enough. I can’t do much more for them right now other than just be their friend and support them similarly to how they have supported me.
