Hello from The Seattle Children's Hospital.

Colten Dean Jantz was born to Lyndon and Jeanette Jantz 11/20/21 in an emergency to try to save the little fella. It was noticed in an ultra sound that there was enlarged kidneys with the possibility of urine blockage. They were transferred from Saint Alphonsus to St. Luke’s then after a couple days the doctors determined it was best for him to be born to try to save his life. After birth there were other things that have surfaced as well such as hole in lung, and a heart problem as well. It was then felt by St Luke’s Boise to send him by life flight to Seattle to get better help for his unique needs. Although these needs are not all understood yet as of this writing , the medical, and living here expenses have already begun to escalate. The current health insurance program they have successfully used in the past appears to already be maxed out, and the parents were informed this morning (Nov 21) the stay will likely be months instead of weeks for Colten his mother and dad and two little sisters. Although it is sad, we know God is in control and has a plan. His way is best. We don’t know what the future will hold but at this point they were told to plan to make residence here for months instead of weeks. Although there are lots of places to give our money to charity’s and those in need we want to open a fund for them here, to help bear their burdens. Although the dollar goal here is likely far far under what will be needed to cover expenses, we are going to do all we can as family and Church as well.
