Hi Family, Friends and great people all around,

As you may know, our beloved Jaime is pregnant with her second miracle baby boy, Chase. Jaime, Steve and big brother Blake are so grateful, full of love and cannot wait to welcome baby Moreno into the familia. As much as they are enjoying the pregnancy and keeping an optimistic mindset through it all, they have a harsh reality to face once Chase makes his arrival.

Their baby boy on the way was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). It's a severe congenital heart defect that will require him to have 2 open heart surgeries before he's 6 months old and at least 1 more before he turns 3. His road after that will always be one of constant monitoring. Not to mention, doctor visits to ensure things are functioning normally and heart transplants are very common for HLHS kiddos.

Anyone who knows Jaime and Steve know they are the kindest, funniest, and most thoughtful friends to us all. They rarely ask for anything and do not air their hardships on social media. Today is Jaime's birthday and all she is asking for are good vibes/prayers for their baby boy to live a long and healthy life.

In addition to positive energy, I am asking for help in the form of any little bit of monetary contribution you can make to the Baby Chase Heart Fund. Even with insurance coverage, medical costs will be substantial. We know the Moreno family will greatly appreciate any donation you can make to support a thriving road to recovery for their baby boy.
