Dear family and friends,

My sister Emily experienced the unimaginable this Tuesday morning with the sudden, unexpected loss of her beloved son, Cayden Bartolo Smalley. He did not wake up from his sleep Tuesday morning, and they were unable to revive his heart. Our family is in shock with the loss of our baby boy Cayden, and there are no words to describe the grief of his passing.

Cayden was a bright, bubbly, energetic boy of 2 years who will be missed every day. He loved to make friends and share kisses, tend his little vegetable/salsa garden, and learn big words. He was silly and already had a great sense of humor, and his favorite thing was to say, “I love you.” Cayden will be forever in our hearts, gone much too soon. It hurts so bad that he is gone, and we are all in shock.

Many friends and family have asked for how they can help in this difficult time. I am setting up this GoFundMe account to help my sister cover the costs of the memorial and burial services to honor baby Cayden’s life.
