This fundraising campaign is to cover medical bills for cancer treatment of a 2.5 year old girl, whose name is Daria.

Daria has been fighting cancer for the past two years. She was diagnosed with eye cancer - retinoblastoma, when she was 6 months; she went through series of successful treatments; however in August during routine examination doctors found out that tumors in Daria's eyes started to grow again. Now the only option for Daria to avoid eyes removal surgery is to get a chemotherapy in a Memorial Sloan-Kettering cancer center in New-York.

The cancer center requires a 100% deposit of $175,000, including $112,000 of hospital charges and $63,000 of physicians charges, before starting the treatment. The amount is enormous, but this is the only chance to a 2.5-year-old baby for a healthy life.

It is really tragic that a life of a sweet little child depends on whether her family will be able to get the necessary amount of money. Daria's mother Irina is going through so much just looking at her daughter suffering; and it is really heartbreaking to know that the fact, whether family will be able to gather that amount of money, stands between the health and survival of an innocent child.
