My mom had originally made the post below to try to help our family! Someone decided to take advantage of our situation and create Venmo accounts that are very similar to Riches and took money from people who were trying to help us.

Hi everyone

We have all been so excited and blessed to welcome Callan into the family. As most of you know Tessa runs a licensed home daycare and she and Rich worked hard to arrange for her to have a few weeks home with baby Callan to recover from her c-section and spend time with just her family. She was so looking forward to her first maternity leave. Because she is self employed this meant no income while she is off. They budgeted and scrimped and had it under control.

Unfortunately Callan has faced a few challenges that has resulted in him needing to stay in the NICU. Rich has run back and forth several times per day to take care of Aria, Layton and Holden while still being here for Tessa and Callan. Rich’s family have taken on lots of the care of the three big kids and I’ve tried to be here as much as possible for Tess and Callan.

These many unplanned trips and the need to eat hospital food and the supplies needed to allow Tess to pump and provide for Callan when she can not be here is more expense then they had planned on with their very tight budget. If you know me and my family we do not like to ask for help.

I know the finances have mom and dad stressed. I am asking for some of our friends to make a small donation to Rich, Tess and the kids so that they can totally focus on getting baby Callan well.
