Baby Buddy being able to walk
Donation protected
My name is Kim and I don't have children but me and my wife do have fur babies. They
mean the world to us. This morning around
1 am we got home from a family trip to find our Sweet baby Buddy (cat) not able to use his
back legs. Instant panic and tears, we
examined him the best we could and saw that he had a gash on his back leg and his stomach was bright purple and red. We immediately
rushed him to the emergency vet in Allen Park. $600 later, they informed us he has a
fractured pelvis in 3 places that would require surgery. Because of the severity of the
Fractures it's not something he can heal on his own. My younger brother who was house/pet sitting said the neighbor saw one of our cats
Push through a screen in our basement
window but the cat took off before they could get him. We're/the vet is assuming Buddy is
the one that got out and possibly got hit by a
Car because of the severity of his injuries. The vet referred us to Animal Surgical Center of
Michigan who informed us the procedure will start around $3000. Sadly we don't have close to that amount of money right now. My heart
Is literally broken and I haven't stopped crying since last night. Buddy means the world to me and it's killing me I don't have what he needs. I'm asking, begging, for any bit of help to make sure he can walk again. Anything helps and it would be more than appreciated and mean
the world to me, my wife, and our baby Buddy.
