Austin and Andrea Dredge Family

Update:  Austin and Andrea are having baby number two in October. As much of a blessing this is for them, it is going to be a difficult time. Baby #2, his name will be Bennett Riley, has spina bifida. Spina Bifida is a neural tube defect that will affect him for the rest of his life. He may or may not have function of his lower extremities, he may not walk without assistance, he may be wheelchair bound. He more than likely will have multiple surgeries after birth to close his spine (spina bifida and kyphosis), correct his feet (club feet), and have a shunt put in for hydrocephalus (water on the brain). 

They were referred to Los Angeles and Houston for fetal surgery, but both physicians have declined saying the surgery wouldn't be beneficial at this time and the surgery is too risky for Bennett with everything else going on. 

The money donated will be used for current and future medical and travel  expenses to various hospitals and clinics.
