Hello, my name is Esther and I am fundraising on behalf of Hands of Passion Children's Home (formerly known as Helping Hands Ministries) to help a little boy named Talyaka receive urgent eye care.
Talyaka is 7 years old and he is experiencing severe eye inflammation and infection. His condition is serious and requires immediate evaluation by a medical professional or ophthalmologist to prevent potential long-term vision damage .
He appears to also have a condition called Noma which is a severe necrotizing disease that destroys the mouth and face . This condition primarily affects malnourished children in extreme poverty, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. The acute phase of Noma is often fatal if not treated. Early detection and immediate medical attention are crucial. Treatment often includes antibiotics to fight infection and supportive care to address malnutrition and dehydration.

Hi, my name is Esther and I am fundraising on behalf of Hands of Passion Children's Home, Uganda (formerly known as Helping Hands Ministries) to help a beautiful baby boy named Wilson.
I am based in Ontario, Canada and I have been helping Hands of Passion for several years by raising funds for them to help sick children in Uganda. This ministry is very dear to me because they share the same passion I do and that is to help children who are poor and in need of medical care. Not only do they take care of the children who live at their home, they also help children in the wider community to receive the medical attention that they need. Unfortunately these children are from poor families who cannot afford to help them so they look to Hands of Passion for help.
Baby Wilson is 2 months old and sadly he was abandoned by his mother because of his medical condition and because she cannot afford to take care of him. The ministry became aware of him through well wishers in the community and they took him to the home where he will now live because the whereabouts of his mother and other relatives are unknown.
Because of the growth on his head, Wilson urgently needs medical attention. Also, he is in need of clothes, diapers, blankets, baby formula and a little bed.

Too often, we ask for help for these sick children and the help does not come or by the time it comes, it is too late. Please, I am appealing to you to donate for Wilson so that we can get him the help that he needs. No donation is too small because there is strength in numbers. Please let us work together to give him a chance at life. No child deserves to go without medical care because of the lack of funds. I am confident that together we can help him.

Hi, my name is Esther and I am fundraising on behalf of the Helping Hands Ministries, Uganda to help 2 precious little boys who need medical attention.
The Helping Hands ministries/orphanage is very close to my heart because one of their main missions is to help as many sick children in their community as possible. They have helped a lot of children (including Blessing who had a very large tongue and today she is doing so well) thanks to donations they have received from their supporters. A lot of these children would have not survived had it not been for the help of donors. We are forever grateful to all donors for their outpouring of love and support for these children.
The first boy is Sula, who many of you may already know. Sula's journey has been a very long and difficult one. Sadly, his stepmother poured hot water on his feet as punishment when she found out that he ate food without her permission. His feet were very badly burnt. She left him locked up in the house, unattended and alone for days, while she ran away. Neighbors heard his anguished cries and found him in very horrible condition. They took him to Helping Hands where he now lives. Unfortunately his stepmother was never located so that she could be brough to justice and the whereabouts of his father remain unknown.
Thankfully we were able to raise funds for him to have several skin graft surgeries. However, although he has had these surgeries, and goes for weekly follow-up visits to the doctor, his challenges continue. Because he is not able to walk properly, he has to crawl on his knees and because of this there is a painful wound on his knee and the skin has scraped off so he is feeling a lot pain. You will see this in the video below:
To help him move around comfortably, we would like to purchase a walker for him. We also need more support for him to pay for his follow-up doctor's visits.
The second boy is Janda who is 7 year old and he hails from a humble poverty stricken family. He has a huge swollen stomach and legs and he is also suffering from severe malnutrition. He has heart and kidney problems and he is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.

I am trying to raise $2,500 CAD to pay for his medical expenses which include the cost of tests, procedures/surgery and treatment that he needs.
Please, I am making an impassioned plea to you to donate to help both Janda and Sula. They have been suffering for too long and no child should have to live like this. We can't help them without your support. Any amount you can afford to donate helps, no matter how small it may be.
Please let us give them the chance to be healthy, happy and have a normal life.
