we were blessed with Baby Bea on 8/12/21. Her sassy self (much like her mother) met the family with many challenges when born and ongoing. Momma went into labor In Petoskey however the medical team there didn’t feel confident in their abilities so she had to be taken shortly after birth down to Devos. She has had many nights in the hospital multiple surgeries to dilate her esophagus, feeding tube placement, she has an ostomy bag as her anal sphincter did not develop(they will try to correct later in life). Her amazing Momma had to stop working for now as Bea needs around the clock medical care, suctioning, feeding, changing her ostomy bags, her awesome dad Zach has been juggling work and staying by Tori and Bea’s side during surgeries and medical emergencies.

they have been frequenting Devos for repeated surgeries to dilate Bea’s Esophagus

during testing they have also found her to be deaf and while hoping she will be able to utilize hearing aids, the family has taken on learning ASL.

tonight 11/19 Bea had to go to emergency in Petoskey for a fever almost 103, she was seizing, her oxygen was low, her heart rate was 220 after what seemed like an eternity they were finally able to intubated her and medical flight her down to Devos where they are equipped better to care for her. I’ve seen bills for these helicopter rides and know it will not be feasible without both parties working to pay it off. Not to mention keeping up with the rest of Bea’s climbing medical expenses.

they have thankfully been able to get a room at the Ronald McDonald house there too which helps them when they can rest.

I know they don’t want to ask for help however as a big cousin I gotta step in and say they need all the help they can get♥️ If you cannot help with donations if you could lift Baby Bea and her family up in prayers those are also greatly appreciated.
