Our family is urgently asking for your help to save baby Azariah Autumn Bowleg, a precious 5-week-old newborn from the Bahamas who is fighting for her life.
Azariah entered the world alongside her twin brother, bringing double the joy to her mother, Arnisha Bowleg, and their family. But shortly after birth, doctors discovered that Azariah has a serious congenital heart condition. She was born with only two functioning heart chambers instead of four, and a critical valve that is supposed to open properly does not.
Right now, Azariah is being kept alive by medication that forces this valve to remain open, but this is only a temporary measure. She urgently needs specialized heart surgery in order to survive.
By the grace of God and the generosity of others, our family has been able to secure $100,000 through the Sir Victor Sassoon Heart Foundation to cover the cost of her life-saving procedure. The surgery is scheduled to take place at Health City Cayman Islands, a facility equipped to provide the critical care she needs.
However, there is one final and urgent hurdle. Azariah must be transported safely to the Cayman Islands on a specialized air ambulance (medevac). This flight has been arranged through REVA Air Ambulance, an international medical transport provider equipped with the neonatal care team and equipment required to keep her stable during travel.
The cost of this emergency medevac is $25,000, and without it, Azariah cannot reach the hospital where her life-saving procedure will take place.
Time is critical. The medication keeping her stable is not a long-term solution, and every moment counts in getting her the care she needs.
We are asking for your help, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Azariah one step closer to the surgery that could save her life.
If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page with your network. Your support, prayers, and generosity mean more to our family than words can express.
Thank you for standing with Azariah and giving her a chance at life.
