Meet Baby Ayden Noa who is Fighting for His Life in the NICU
Hi everyone,
My name is Melanie Myhlhousen and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family and especially for my precious nephew, Baby Ayden, who made his entrance into the world far earlier than he was supposed to. He was born 14 weeks early at 2 lbs, 2 oz, and he is now in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), bravely fighting for his life. He was supposed to come home to AZ last week, but pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome caused his premature delivery.
Despite his tiny size, Baby Ayden is already showing incredible strength and resilience. Watching him hooked up to machines and surrounded by wires is something no parent or family member should ever have to witness—but we believe in his strength and in the power of love and community.
His mother and grandmother are by his side in Missouri, and it just got scary. He was airlifted to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital for heart surgery this morning. They are doing everything they can, but the financial burden is growing quickly. Between the cost of specialized medical care, hospital stays, transportation to and from the NICU, and time away from work, the stress has become overwhelming.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease that burden and allow Baby Ayden’s mother to focus on what matters most—being by his side during this critical time. Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
• Hospital co-pays
• Travel and lodging near the hospital, until the Ronald McDonald House has a room for them
• Lost income from time off work
• Essential baby care items and post-hospital support
We know times are tough for many, but if you can donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to our family. If you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this page with your friends, family, and community.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and prayers. We are holding on to hope and looking forward to the day we can bring Baby Ayden home where he belongs.
With love and gratitude,
Melanie and Family ❤️
