Baby Axton Myers’ Medical Expenses

Donation protected
My cousin Amanda Myers and her husband Andrew, have a baby boy named Axton, who is only four months old. Last night, he was transferred by ambulance to the Children's Hospital and is in the PICU. Axton currently has RSV, on top of the other medical conditions he has been diagnosed with throughout his life. He has spent more time in and out of the hospital and doctor's appointments than he has spent at home with his family.

Axton Myers has endured immense trials and tribulations related to his health. Axton was first diagnosed with Spina Bifida before he took his first breath. When he was born, the roller coaster continued. Axton has had 2 Blood transfusions and a Hernia Repair, all while having Hip dysplasia, Tibia torsion and Torticollis. As a family, they have had to pay out-of-pocket medical bills such as a Florida specialist, ambulance transfers and everything in between.

Amanda and Andrew have two little girls, Adaline, who is four years old and Anniston, who will be two in January. They are both at home waiting for their little brother to come home healthy and make their family whole again.

Several people have asked their family, "What can we do to help?" They are both so humble and gracious that their answer is always, "Please just pray." I am asking you to please pray for a complete recovery, bring healing and deliverance and allow Axton to overcome this sickness with no lasting or lingering effects.

With continuous prayer, please consider a donation, even if it covers a small meal for them at Children's Hospital or for their sweet girls at home waiting.

Words from Amanda this morning, "He is so worn out. His body has been through so much. Mom's remember to always listen to your intuition with your child. Especially babies, they can't speak to tell you what's going on. Ax Struggled for a lot of days. I finally put my foot down, and we are now at a place where they will care for him properly. Today I am thankful for the critical care teams and the PICU at children's. Thank you, Jesus, for providing a bed for him. Nine other flights/ambulance cruises denied us because of weather, but Jesus provided. I'm not sure what we would have been looking at if we didn't get him here, so thank you to everyone who has helped us so far. The doctors said he had prayer warriors because he is showing incredible signs. They are going to change him back to high-flow oxygen. I pray we can keep decreasing oxygen in my boy can be healed from this beast."

Amanda and Andrew are not the types where asking for help comes easy. They have mentioned their love goes out to other families impacted by this RSV outbreak across the state.
