Brittaney and Derrick Benson welcomed their new baby girl into the world on August 6, 2018. Recently, baby Ava was diagnosed with meningitis, which is an infection in the brain. Baby Ava has fought a hard battle. Dr.'s and nurses have done everything they can to heal this sweet girl, and today they've decided that it is best to go ahead and take Ava off of the medications to see what she decides to do on her own.
We are trying to help Brittaney and Derrick with all medical costs and anything else they need. Anything that you are willing to donate will help this sweet family tremendously. Prayers for comfort and healing for mom, dad, and big sister Quinn are much appreciated, thank y'all for everything!

We've decided that we're going to wait for Derrick's family to get here then we're going to take her off of all of her medication and let her decide how long she wants to wait to go home. It was by far the hardest decision we have had to make, but we had to think about what is best for her. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers.
