As you know, baby Atlas has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a serious congenital heart defect where the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped. This means his heart struggles to pump blood effectively, and every day requires careful monitoring and constant medical care.
Though he’s not even six months old, Atlas has already endured multiple surgeries, countless NICU stays, and recently came frighteningly close to needing life support.
Atlas just recently had surgery to remove a blood clot and place a stent, while trying to fight off pneumonia and the flu.
The family is currently in Kansas City to receive the care Atlas needs, which means they are unable to work. Cooper, who works full-time at Kraft has used all his available vacation time. Meanwhile, rent, utilities, and everyday living expenses continue to pile up.
Every day is both a blessing and a challenge, and through it all, Atlas has shown incredible strength. His parents, Julianna and Cooper, rely on their faith in God to guide them through each difficult moment.
Julianna and Cooper are hardworking and devoted parents who should only have to focus on one thing: helping Atlas heal and thrive.
We know that the holidays are hard on everyone, but your support will give them the gift of peace of mind, ensuring bills and daily needs are covered so they can pour all their love and energy into their brave little boy.
With God’s guidance, they continue to face each day with hope, faith, and unwavering love. Your generosity will be a tangible way to lift this family’s burden and allow them to focus fully on their miracle, Baby Atlas.
**The host of this GoFundMe is June Kincheloe, a member of Hillside Baptist Church where Julianna and Cooper are also members. You may notice the name Amanda Salcido listed—she is June’s daughter and helped set up this fundraiser.**
Psalm 46:1
