At just 26 weeks pregnant, we were admitted into Hoag hospital with the life threatening disease preeclampsia. With every intention to have a beautiful at home water birth, as you can imagine we were devastated. Two days later our baby girl Atlas was born through an emergency C-Section weighing 1.7 lbs and was rushed to the NICU where she spent the first 4 weeks of her life. Atlas has recently been moved to the "little babies" NICU at CHOC Children's hospital where she is being evaluated and cared for. She will need blood transfusions, heart surgery and all of the love, prayers and positive energy we can get. Atlas and Moms' hospital bills have left us empty handed, and we could use all of the help we can get to make sure our baby girl comes home to us safely. Our family is hard working, loving, compassionate, and by no means looking for "handouts", but we are forever grateful for any help we can get in our unexpected rough time. Thank you for your love and support be it in funds, prayers or sending positive vibes! ✨✨✨
