Hi, my name is Dora Magallanes and I am baby Ashley's aunt. I am here on behalf of my brother and my sister-in-law to help them raise the funds that are needed for baby Ashley's surgeries. Baby Ashley has pulmonary atresia as well as a lip and palate cleft. Pulmonary atresia is a birth defect of the heart in which the pulmonary valve did not form while she was growing. This valve is extremely important in controlling blood from the heart to the lungs, without this the blood can't travel back to the lungs and receive the oxygen that is needed to survive. My brother and sister-in-law have paid for everything else from out of pocket and aren't left with much, but they are giving all that they can to help their little miracle. She is a beautiful angel sent from God and full of life. She's our little princess that would appreciate any help from anyone.
