Meet Analee and Anthony Armstrong. Many of you may already know them.
For those who don't, Analee joyously met Anthony after a devastating divorce. Shortly after their marriage in November, they announced their pregnancy.
Posting frequent updates, Analee kept us updated on her journey.
Yesterday, Analee and Anthony eagerly went to the hospital for a routine checkup and to learn the gender of their 20-week old baby.
Analee posted last night about how the appointment went:
"We excitedly went in for my 20 week ultrasound today only to find out the baby didn’t have a heartbeat anymore. I guess the baby died about 3 weeks ago as it was measuring around 17 weeks. I’ll be induced Sunday afternoon to deliver our baby. We will name him/her then. The positioning of the baby made it so they couldn’t see the gender. As for the cause, it’s unknown for now. We would appreciate all the prayers you could said our way."
Anthony added:
"It’s been a hard day overall, but we are Grateful for God, Prayer, and Eternal families and we know we will see our little one again."
The response to Analee and Anthony's posts have been overwhelming. Your prayers have been felt and will continue working miracles.
Many have already stepped in to shoulder the burdens of costs, but additional help is welcome. We ask now for small donations to cover the few costs incurred by this unexpected and heartbreaking event.
While the final costs aren't known yet, any donations received beyond what is necessary for Baby Armstrong's funeral, genetic testing, headstone, etc will be donated directly to "Share Parents of Utah."
