Baby Arden’s Journey

Hello, I’m Lindsey, Arden’s mom. Arden was born on February 9, 2024. Very quickly we realized something was wrong with our baby. In addition to her arm and leg being broken during delivery, she was not moving and we were told her muscles were too weak to function properly. She was too weak to even breathe on her own and was intubated and put on ventilator. She has remained in the NICU since she was born. We have exhausted all genetic testing to find an answer and doctors cannot find a cause.

Arden will be having a tracheotomy for breathing and a feeding tube placed in her abdomen on April 24th. While she recovers, her father and I will be training to be her caretakers when she comes home on a ventilator. Her care will be extensive and 24/7.

We are fundraising to help with the cost of Arden’s genetic tests not covered by insurance and help with preparing our home to function as her NICU (cleaning supplies, air purifiers, storage solutions, etc). Tyler and I are a single income family living pay check to pay check. Any funds raised will go directly to Arden’s care and anything we need for her to come home.
