Lyndsey and Ben welcomed their first beautiful daughter last August. She is bubbly, sassy, smiley, and an absolute cuddle baby!

And she needs surgery.

Major surgery.

The Brownfields learned that Anne has Craniosynostosis which is a condition in which the sutures close prematurely, causing problems with normal brain and skull growth and premature closure of the fontanelles (soft spots).

Due to this condition Anne needs major surgery on her skull. As you can imagine this is an immense undertaking. The surgery will take 9 hours and they will be in the hospital for up to a week. On top of this Ben recently learned that his company is dissolving his department and it is unclear on what will happen with his role.

Any of those things would be A LOT…but all 3? Hence this (gestures to page). While Ben and Lyndsey are doing all they can to manage, we have the opportunity to help too. Since we live in this fascinating country they do have amazing doctors who are supporting Anne. And because we live in this fascinating country, the bill is IMMENSE.
