Ashley and Tim were blessed with Anders Douglas Barman on Thanksgiving Day at 7:01 PM.  Anders is a strong and feisty boy who arrived at just 24 weeks on the dot gestational age, which is the first week of viability during pregnancy.  He weighed in at 1 lb 15 oz and was exactly 12 inches long.  To put this into perspective Anders weighed less than two packs of butter and was the length of a ruler when he was born.   

Anders has started his long journey in the NICU and is already making great strides.  His mom and dad are so proud of him and so very in love!  His name means strong and manly which is certainly the case and also has family ties which makes it even more special.  

Ashley, Tim, and Anders have a very long, stressful and emotional road ahead of them.  Many of you have reached out asking how you can help and I wanted to start a platform that allows us to help them financially.  Unfortunately, due to the early arrival of sweet Anders, Ashley's insurance is not covering her medical bills or her short-term disability.  On top of it, Ashley and Tim now have the daily expenses of travel to and from the NICU, meals on the road, care for their sweet pups and more.  You never think about all the expenses that pile up until you are in a similar situation.  

As this sweet family adjusts to their new life and this little miracle continues to impress us let's help them financially as we are able.
