We are reaching out to ask for your help for Amaya, a sweet and strong 3-year-old girl, who is facing an unimaginable medical battle. She will be having open-heart surgery on April 17. She was born with a rare disease called Scimitar syndrome that affects the right lung and only one working kidney. It has been an emotionally challenging couple of years, having 6 specialists and a lot of doctor's visits. Thanks to the doctors that acted immediately, performing emergency surgery on her heart when she was only 6 weeks old, she was able to come home after 3 months.
