Hi everyone,

My name is Kelsie Hudson and I’m reaching out for support during a very difficult time. I’m currently in my third trimester of pregnancy, and at my 20-week scan, we learned our baby girl has Thanatophoric Dysplasia, a rare condition where her chest is too small for her lungs to work properly after birth. Unfortunately, she is not expected to survive long, but we want to cherish every moment we have with her.

Because I have a high-risk delivery scheduled for December 1st at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, I need to be there at least 3 weeks before the birth. The Ronald McDonald House won’t allow me to stay until after the baby is born, so I’m raising funds to cover an Airbnb or extended stay hotel, food, necessities, and keepsakes for Alyssa, as well as possible funeral or memorial expenses.
