Our son, Altin, was born premature and the respiratory sensor in his brain was not fully developed and sometimes he forgets to breathe. he's currently in the NICU so they can monitor his oxygen levels. he's been having several "episodes" every day and he has to stay there for a minimum of 5 days after his last episode. so we have no idea when our precious son will get to come home. since the nursing staff wants him to go into deep sleep throughout the day, we have designated times that we can hold and feed him. so we're having to commute several times a day if we want to see our son. if his episodes continue like they are, he'll have to undergo a 10 hour sleep study.
we're trying to raise money for his medical bills and travel expenses as we have no idea when he'll be home with us.
