Urgent Appeal – Help Save a Baby’s Life

During a recent visit to Bangladesh, I met a heartbroken father whose 10-month-old daughter is fighting for her life. She was born with a rare condition where she has a growing hole in her heart. Doctors have said that surgery is her only chance of survival. Tragically, no specialist in Bangladesh is willing to perform this critical operation. The family has now been advised to seek urgent treatment in India.

This is a poor, humble family surviving on the father’s daily labour wage. The cost of surgery and treatment is far beyond what they could ever earn. Earlier, through the generosity of donors, we raised £3,500, which was partially used for vital tests and consultations. Now, with her condition deteriorating, we are urgently seeking further funds to cover travel, specialist medical care, and the life-saving operation abroad.

The required amount is £3000. Every day of delay puts her life at greater risk.

Your donation—no matter how small—could be the reason she grows up healthy, laughs, plays, and lives a full life. The Prophet ﷺ taught us compassion, and Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)
