Baby Adeline and the Foote Family
Donation protected
Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time to read Nathan and Katie’s story.
On Tuesday, May 13th, our beloved daughter-in-law Katie was airlifted from Bemidji Sanford Hospital to Fargo due to a severe case of pre-eclampsia. The original hope was to stabilize her condition and keep the baby safe for as long as possible—but things quickly changed. Katie’s condition worsened, and she had to undergo an emergency C-section.
At around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14th, little Adeline Rae Foote made her early entrance into the world, weighing just 2 lbs 2 oz and measuring 13.78 inches long. She is a tiny fighter, but because of her early arrival, she will need to spend at least 10 weeks in the NICU to receive the care she needs.
As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll this has taken on Nathan and Katie is immense. Between the extended NICU stay, medical expenses, and Nathan traveling over 2.5 hours each way from Bemidji to Fargo, the costs are quickly adding up. On top of this, Nathan is juggling work and trying to be present for his wife and newborn daughter during this critical time.
We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the burden on the Foote family and allow Nathan to take some time off work to be with his new little family—without the stress of being far away or worrying about the mounting costs.
No donation is too small. Whether you’re able to give $5, $50, or simply share their story, every bit helps. Let’s rally around this beautiful family and show them they’re not alone on this journey.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
