I am fundraising for someone in Africa, Gambia, to receive money for food to ensure they have something they can eat. Due to the nature of this fundraiser as a form of financial support over a term that can't be defined, the exact goal itself is also hard to define. I will be receiving the funds from my bank account in Ireland and transferring them to my beneficiary through Remittly.

He lives with his two siblings. He lost his father to malaria and last year his loving mother. He didn't inherit financial support from his parents as they earned little. He has inherited a phone from his mother so it is possible to contact him directly.

He hasn't had the money to attend school due to the need to pay for school bills and school learning materials.
