Babette employee fundraiser
Donation protected
Two weeks ago, when the Shelter- in- Place mandate went into effect, we had no choice but to take the necessary yet heartbreaking measure of temporarily laying off all of our hourly employees. We have been working around the clock the past week to figure out how we can provide for our amazing team during this time while also trying to ensure that they have a job to come back to when this is all over. We have helped everyone transition to unemployment but it is not enough. Simply put, we are humbly reaching out to you, our greater Babette community, for help.
Our tiny staff is like family to us and we consider them the measure of our success.
As we scramble to source funds in the form of loans and grants from government agencies, we realize that a direct appeal to you, our beloved customers, could make the difference in whether or not we can keep the Babette family together.
When you have a good staff, it means everything to hold on to them and that is what these funds will be used for.
When we all get through this, we hope you will all come and celebrate this achievement that was made possible by your generosity and kindness.
With loving gratitude for our community we humbly thank you for your consideration.
Warmly,
Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker
