“Give Hope to Mothers, Life to Babies”

Babes & Bellies is heading back to Ghana to provide free ultrasounds and donate essential maternal and baby items.

When we last traveled in 2022, we performed hundreds of scans and distributed thousands of items — diapers, wipes, car seats, clothes, and more. We also performed general diagnostic ultrasounds as well to the general public.

Some of the challenges faced: no safe tables for scans, no privacy screens, and no stand for our portable machine, however, we managed to press forward. With your support, we can purchase equipment this time to ensure mothers are seen safely and with dignity.

In Ghana, 308 women die for every 100,000 live births — deaths that are often preventable with proper prenatal care and access to ultrasound.
