Babes BBQ fire recovery

Our good friends at Babes BBQ need our help. Early Friday morning Jan 20 their quaint Georgetown restaurant suffered a substantial fire. The damage from the fire and the water to extinguish the fire has left the business in need of serious restoration in order to get back to doing what they do best and that is making some of the best homestyle food in Kentucky. If you’ve ever had the chance to meet the folks at Babes you quickly realize it is not just for the great food that you come here to visit. Frank and Teresa treat their customers and employees as family! My family moved here 5 years ago and I had the opportunity to work for them, even though I was only there a short time they treated me and my family like we were part of theirs. As a student working her way through college at the University of Kentucky it was not unusual that Frank would help me cover the cost of my books, this is just the type of people that they are. Teresa is always sponsoring some kind of drive for our community, Coat drive, school supplies, etc. She is always looking to help someone out in need.

Babes BBQ does not have insurance to cover this damage.

I am starting this GoFundMe page for them because they represent all that is good in this country. They care about their community, their fellow American, and our great state and nation.

Please consider donating to help them recover from this setback. After suffering from all the challenges COVID presented, a state road widening project that reduced accessibility to their establishment, and now this? Frank and Teresa have the meddle to forge on, it is their strong faith and trust in God that keep them going strong.

I could write on and on about the wonderful people they are and all that they do for the community but we need your help now.
