Help Diák Miksa Benő Own a Viola

Dear Supporters,

My name is Diák Miksa Benő, and I’m about to turn 19. I’m a final-year viola student at the Bartók Béla Conservatory, the practice school of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. While I played the violin for 14 years, I am now in my second year specializing in viola. Currently, I rent my bow from the school, and my main instrument is on loan from my teacher. However, once I graduate, I won’t have the opportunity to keep this instrument.

At this point in my musical journey, having my own viola would be transformative, allowing me to grow and express myself fully as a musician. Acquiring a quality viola is a significant financial challenge, and that’s why I’m reaching out. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and help bring me closer to my dreams.
