Hi! My name is Brianna Custer and I am creating a gofundme on behalf of my good friend, Ashley Lambert. Ashley is 36 years old and was diagnosed with Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma in November. Ashley’s cancer invaded her facial nerve, parotid (salivary) gland, and sternocleomastoid muscle that supports her neck and shoulder function. Ashley underwent surgery in December, in which they successfully removed all visible cancerous cells as well as a large portion of her muscle. Following surgery, pathology results discovered that non-visible cancerous cells remain in an origin of Ashley’s neck resulting in a need for intensive radiation and chemotherapy lasting 6-7 weeks in duration beginning at the end of January. A gofundme is being put together to help relieve the financial burden brought on by not only medical bills, but also, being out of work without pay. Thank you in advance for all of your support.
