Medical Bills Chronic Lupus Nephritis

I was diagnosed a year ago with an incurable disease called Lupus Nephritis. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue. This results in symptoms such as inflammation, swelling and damage to joints, skin, kidneys, blood, heart and lungs. There is no cure for lupus, nor has there been a drug to treat the disease within the last 50 years.
 
My employer has been more than helpful with the numerous hospital stays I have encountered, doctor appointments, call out etc. I am now in a situation to where if I have to take off from work or am admitted into the hospital I do not receive a paycheck.
