Raising money to support and defend democracy

The International Association for Democracy (IAD) was founded by passionate individuals alarmed by the growing threats to democracies around the globe. We work to promote and defend democracy by:

1. Raising public awareness about the importance of democracy and the threats it faces globally.

We achieve this through impactful social media campaigns, targeted Google ads, a regular newsletter, and publishing opinion pieces in major media outlets.

2. Lobbying governments, parliamentarians, and officials to take action in fostering and defending democracy.

We advocate for incentives to be provided to countries that strengthen democratic institutions and the rule of law, and for sanctions against those who seek to undermine democracy.

Our invaluable work is possible because of the commitment of over 50 dedicated volunteers. However, to sustain and professionalize our efforts, and to amplify our pro-democracy message, we need your support.

Your donation can make a tremendous difference. We will allocate your generous donations to critical areas that will bolster our efforts in promoting and defending democracy:

1. Campaigns and Outreach: Funding social media campaigns, online ads, and other digital outreach initiatives to spread our pro-democracy message to a wider audience.

2. Operational Costs: Covering essential operational costs to sustain and professionalize our organization, ensuring we have the infrastructure and capabilities to carry out our work efficiently.

3. Hiring a dedicated employee to coordinate our initiatives, manage campaigns, support our volunteers, and lead much of our lobbying efforts, amplifying our capacity to effect change.
