My INCREDIBLY POSITIVE, intelligent, hardworking, loving, spiritual Ambassador has literally found herself homeless. We are simply asking for any dollar amount you can contribute in order to get their temporary housing, which was supposed to be complete, in a liveable condition.
They were scammed and my heart is hurting!!! Please help me get the word out in their behalf. And no, they don't know we are doing this because they'd never let us!
Hi Blaire, First of all THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping us help Kayla and her family. Jeanne said you need some bullet points on what her family has endured so I'll do my best but Kayla does not share her struggle with us. She is a strong woman who spends her time lifting us up and encouraging our journeys. She rarely shares with us her own personal struggles. But here's what we know: Her daughter Ashley suffers from CPRS along with multiple emotional issues so she's in and out of the hospital on a regular basis, their medical bills are off the charts! It's hard on her financially and emotionally to watch her daughter suffer through such an unexplainable and incurable disorder. I can only imagine! Her husband is also very ill, I'm not quite sure what exactly he suffers from but he cannot do many things which leaves Kayla responsible for all the heavy lifting, ei yard work, etc. Kayla herself is dealing with a painful muscle tear in her hip which the doctors recommended a hip replacement but she says she doesn't have time to have it done. Basically, Kayla is a selfless, caring, compassionate, nurturing person who dedicates herself to helping others. I helped them purchase this home and I am just sick that this contractor stole their hard earned money and left them homeless.
I forgot all about the wedding! Omgosh, she must be so disheartened!
One more thing! Kayla shared with me yesterday that her husband has been in tears because his biggest fear is becoming homeless since he was homeless as a child. This is taken a major toll on them emotionally.
But classic Kayla, her text reply to me this morning when I checked on her was "Alive and well, this ain't nothing but a thang!" I love her!!! Thank you again for your help!!
@Blaire LaVoy ... @Sunny Stewart Lawrence did an amazing job highlighting the major points in Kaylas life without the burden of this contactor ruining the hopes of a "move in" ready mobile home. Albeit temporary for a couple of years, this devastation is beyond words ... AND she is trying to help her oldest daughter plan her wedding (which also devasted Kayla ... only a Mom can feel this pain).
Thank you again for helping us help her! #wearetrulyoneplexus
