Last night, tragedy struck when my mom’s trailer, her HOME, burned down. In a matter of moments, she lost everything: her clothes, furniture, cherished family photos, and all the little pieces that made her house a home.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, and for that we are beyond grateful. But now, she is left with absolutely nothing to restart her life. She didn’t even have the finances for a hotel room last night and had to rely on the Red Cross for emergency shelter.

My mom is one of the kindest, most hardworking people I know, and it breaks my heart to see her in this position. She has always given what little she had to others, and now she needs help more than ever.

I am asking for donations to help her get back on her feet, to replace essentials like clothing, toiletries, and household items, and eventually to find a safe place to live again.
