We are raising money in loving memory of our beautiful son and brother Oliver. Oliver sadly passed away on the 12th February 2021. Oliver was one of the most incredible people anyone could meet. Oliver was full of fun, he always made everyone smile and laugh and he was loved by everyone he met.
Oliver studied engineering at Sir Frank Whittle where he followed his passion and went on to study Aerospace engineering at the University of Leicester.
Oliver has always been very sporty but he absolutely loved ultimate frisbee! He played for Red Leicester since he was 14 years old and was soon invited to play for the Flux Twycross ultimate frisbee team where the team went on to achieve great success. When Oliver started at university, he immediately joined the university frisbee club 'Jesters' and made many friends through the sport.
Oliver has left a huge hole in all of our hearts and we miss him so much.
Any money raised will be split between the following two organisations:
Nightline association, a charity which is run by students who support student's mental health. Nightline is a listening, emotional support and information service which is run with support of universities across the country.
Red Leicester Ultimate Frisbee club who played such a large part in Oliver's life and we would like them to use the money to support a number of initiatives and projects in memory of Oliver.
Any money raised will mean so much to our family and will help us support young peoples mental health and their wellbeing through sport.
Thank you.
