Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, my 11 year old nephew Dylan was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma just 2 days ago.
For those of you that know Dylan, you know that he is a sassy, smart-ass, know it all 11 year old with a huge heart.
For those of you that know my sister, you know that he is her world and her baby.
I can't imagine what my sister is going through; Her baby, that she has protected since birth, has to brave hardships that she can't protect him from. He has already had to undergo surgery to remove the tumor and will have another surgery soon. Chemo and radiation are on the horizon. Dylan is a brave kid and I know he will make it, but not without cost.
The price of treatment is more than just financial. Dylan will have to be pulled out of school during his treatment, taking part of his childhood away. He will likely feel sick and tired. He, my sister, and their family will have to face an unimaginable amount of stress in the coming months. I'm asking you to help lessen that burden.
The cost of cancer treatment is astronomical, but every little bit helps. Please, let's come together and show our support for my sister and her family. If you can't show support financially, please share this page and send up a prayer for my nephew.
