Hello my name is Christian, I am the owner of the good boy Cane. I had the pleasure of having Cane for only a few months now and unfortunately the poor baby boy got into some macadamia nuts and got very sick. Luckily the nuts were taken out but once one problem was resolved, another appeared. The bloating from his stomach never went down and I took him back to the vet, further tests and procedures were done in the first few hours to come to the conclusion that Cane had a obstruction in his abdominal region. X-rays were later done to confirm. The next 24 hours were an attempt to remove the block non surgically via IV. The follow up X-rays proved to disappoint and showed that nothing really moved and his stomach is still very big. So our only option left was surgery. I believe that Cane is perfect for me and that there was no way that I was going to put him down. I am a college student and work at Knotts Berry Farm, so it is very hard to come by with the $8000 to pay the bill. Honestly anything that you can give can help. Even though Cane doesn’t understand the concept of money I do and I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you and I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
