Hi everyone, my name is Jasmine, and I’m fundraising for my cat Bonsai—who’s currently facing his third FIP battle.
If you’ve met Bonsai, you know he’s not just a cat. He’s a force of nature. He was first diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) in March 2024—first ocular, then neurological. We were told euthanasia might be the only option.
But Bonsai had other plans.
Thanks to quick access to lifesaving GS medication and support from the amazing FIP community, he responded almost instantly and completed a full 84-day course. He soared. Life returned to normal.
Until it didn’t.
A week later, he relapsed, and we began round two of treatment.
He remained well for months. He was desexed without issue. He ran the house like a tiny dictator. But now, we’re seeing new neurological symptoms. We're facing the very real possibility that Bonsai has relapsed again, and we’re preparing for a third round of treatment.
We're doing everything we can medically and emotionally. But the reality is that GS treatment, diagnostics, and supportive care come at a huge cost—and we’ve exhausted most of our financial buffer after two rounds of this already, plus unexpected blows like a job loss, car issues, and losing another beloved pet to cancer during this same time.
If you’re able to contribute, even the smallest amount, you’ll be helping Bonsai access the treatment he needs to stay alive. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world.
Bonsai’s beaten the odds twice already. Let’s help him do it one more time.
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting.
