On September 21st, a few days before her 16th birthday, Mia was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a type of bone cancer that is rare and aggressive. It causes weakness in the legs, pain in the back, and difficulty walking.

Mia was going in and out of the doctors office, physical therapy, and the chiropractor for 3 months until she was given a diagnosis. On September 15th she was rushed into the ER. This was the day our family found out she had cancer. The words, “large mass,” and, “she has cancer,” repeated over and over in our heads for days. Our hearts were broken and we were a complete mess.

 Mia will be going through 7 months of chemotherapy and radiation. My mom will have to leave work to stay home and take care of her. Please help us to fund her treatments and hospitalization.
