Help Sam❤️

Hi my name is Courtney and on October 3, 2021 my best friend Samantha and I went out for an afternoon trail ride on a dirt road near my house. After we got the horses into a trot, Sam lost her balance, causing her to fall off of her horse. What was meant to be a fun afternoon quickly turned into an emergency situation. Having watched the entire fall, I knew she would be in need of immediate medical attention.
Sam’s injuries consist of mild traumatic brain injury, skull base fractures, mild bruising of the lungs, and a subderal right front side brain bleed. She was brought to Orange Park Medical center and was placed into the Neuro Trauma ICU. After multiple tests and constant monitoring, she has finally been transitioned out of the ICU . Even though Sam has made progress, she has a very long and rough road to recovery ahead of her.
Samantha is a 30-year-old, single mother, to two beautiful children; a 10-year-old daughter, and 3-year-old son. She’s the most kind-hearted human being I know, and is always the first one to help if anyone is in need. She’s one of the hardest, most dedicated workers I know, and never asks for help; even when she needs it the most. So, it’s time for me to step up, like Sam would, and help support her family in any way I can to get them through this very difficult time.
Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated to help relieve the financial burden this unfortunate event will surely bring upon her family.
We are asking that no one reach out to her right away due to how sensitive her recovery is at this time.
